Session 1: Smile Design and Foundation of Dental Aesthetics
Course Description
Meeting patients’ desires when constructing an aesthetic treatment plan has always been a significant challenge for dentists. Sometimes the patients’ wishes are far from reality and are not applicable. This course addresses the most common conflicts between the patient’s aims and the dentist’s plan and how to solve that dilemma taking into consideration the most conservative approaches available.
A general overview of current aesthetic concepts, techniques, and an update of recent aesthetic alternatives will be provided, including how digital dentistry can be an integral part of everyday practice.

Session 2: Adhesive Rehabilitations and Dental Veneers
Course Description
This session provides a comprehensive exploration of adhesive rehabilitations, encompassing the principles of adhesion, treatment planning, and the execution of full-mouth rehabilitations. The program integrates didactic lectures, interactive workshops, clinical video demonstrations, and group discussions to facilitate an evidence-based understanding of modern adhesive and aesthetic protocols.
Emphasis will be placed on the relationship between restorative parameters and facial as well as dental aesthetic analyses to achieve predictable and harmonious smile designs. A broad spectrum of aesthetic concepts will be addressed, including cosmetic orthodontics, bonding and adhesion science, indirect restorations, and ceramic veneer techniques.

Hands-on Workshop
Participants will work on acrylic teeth to learn different types of conservative dental veneers restorations and how to apply these techniques on everyday cases. Live demos and live videos will be used for demonstrations with one-to-one supervision. In the second part, participants will perform dental veneers temporization over their prepared teeth.
Various adhesive strategies will be examined within a problem-solving framework, enabling participants to manage complex clinical scenarios, resolve restorative failures, and approach comprehensive rehabilitations with confidence.

Course Speaker
Dr. Thamer Theeb, BDS, MSc, DP. JB.
Dr. Thamer Theeb is a senior boarded dentist specialized in the field of prosthodontics. He runs Doctor Thamer’s Smile Studio, Dental Lounge Center in Amman, Jordan, and practices part-time in different countries in the MENA region. As a consultant prosthodontist, he carries out a full spectrum of treatments including complex mouth rehabilitations, TMJ problems, cosmetic dentistry, implantology, and bone regeneration procedures.
With more than 200 lectures and clinical workshops worldwide, Dr. Thamer lectures extensively in the field of aesthetic dentistry and is an active member of numerous dental societies. He is the General Secretary of the British Academy of Implant and Restorative Dentistry (BAIRD). Dr. Thamer was a part-time lecturer at the University of Jordan and conducts many lectures and media shows dedicated to public awareness in the field of cosmetic dentistry.
